De Ronde van Nieuwveen is a Thursday evening race through the South Holland village of Nieuwveen. The event field lies on W.P. Speelmanweg between the Nicolaasboys sports park and the Mettenburcht; the start and finish are on the car park, which also hosts changing rooms with showers and a supervised bag drop. The evening opens with children's races over 400 and 800 metres and 1.7 kilometres, alongside a separate 800-metre G-run for participants with an intellectual or physical disability and their guides. The 5, 10 and 15 kilometres follow, covering one, two and three laps of the village respectively. The course runs along Laan der Verwondering, past the grounds of Ipse de Bruggen and through Dorpsstraat and Kerkstraat.
