De Langedijker Run is a local road run through Noord-Scharwoude, organized by Stichting Team Langedijk. The tenth edition on 31 May 2026 traditionally starts with the Allente Kidsrun over 800 and 1,200 metres, followed by the 5 and 10 kilometres of the Stichting Lief Langedijk Run. There are also separate team formats: the 5-kilometre Ursem Barten Business Run for the Gouden Klinker and the Verenigingsrun for members of clubs and associations from Dijk en Waard. The course runs through the heart of Noord-Scharwoude, with Dorpsstraat, De Nieuwe Veiling and the bridges over the Achterburggracht as recognizable sections. Because the proceeds go to Stichting De Kanjerketting and Hospice Schagen, the day feels not only sporting but also strongly rooted in the local community.
