De 5 van Groenekan

About the race

The 5 van Groenekan is a small-scale Sunday-afternoon run in the village of Groenekan, just north of Utrecht. The 5 and 10 km run through the woods of Voordaan and Beukenburg, giving you a green route beneath the trees. At 13:30 the kids' runs start first, in three age groups, going through the Grothelaan and the woodland beside it. These are followed by the 10 km (14:35) and the 5 km from age 11 (15:00). The prize-giving is around 16:00 at restaurant Naast de Buren. Places are limited: once full, entries close.
