Trail de la Croix de Cwimont is a small-scale trail run from Awan near Aywaille, organized by the École communale d'Awan. The race day combines two short but clearly nature-based courses: L'abordable over 7 kilometres with 200 metres of elevation gain and L'exclusive over 14.9 kilometres with 450 metres of elevation gain. The longer distance gains extra character because part of it uses private paths opened only for the trail. Free Kids Runs of 800 and 1,500 metres give the event a clear village and family atmosphere as well. It is an accessible Ardennes trail fixture: compact in distance, but with enough climbing and unpaved terrain to feel like a real trail.
