The Chession Trail sets off from the hamlet of Chession near Stoumont and heads into the Ardennes slopes above the Amblève. There are four distances: 6, 10, 15 and 21 kilometres, so you can try a trail for the first time here or run a half-marathon distance over rough ground. The organisation is in the hands of ASBL Les Petits Pas de la Grenouille, and the charitable purpose is not a side note but the reason the trail exists. The event is not large: one hamlet as the starting point, volunteers from the area and a finish area that feels more like a village party than a race arena.
