Cani-Trail & Trail des Ardennes is a trail and canitrail event from Wanne, near Trois-Ponts, in the Ardennes. The programme offers the same three distances for runners with and without a dog: 11 km with around 330 metres of elevation gain, 17 km with 500 metres and 27 km with 715 metres. Starts are staggered by format, so canitrail and trail are clearly organised side by side. With Ardennes relief and a mix of forest paths, climbs and descents, this is a tougher race than the distance alone suggests. The event is interesting for runners who want to choose between solo trail running and running as a team with a dog without switching to a different course.
