The Calipage Run is a charity evening at the De Warande sports and recreation grounds in Wetteren, in aid of cancer research in young people through CRIG at Ghent University. The evening opens at quarter to seven with the Kids Runs. At quarter to eight the 5 kilometres sets off, followed by the walk over those same five one minute later — just enough of a gap to keep runners and walkers from starting on top of each other. The 10 kilometres closes the evening at half past eight. The course avoids the old town-centre loops and seeks variety through the Stuyvenberg neighbourhood, along the Schelde towards Schellebelle and over the Zandbergen.
