Urban Trail Eindhoven

About the race

Urban Trail Eindhoven is a voyage of discovery in running shoes through the city centre, taking you through buildings, theatres, alleys and hidden places you would never normally run. Start and finish are on the Lichtplein. Participants choose a short route of roughly five to six kilometres or a long one of ten to twelve; the exact length varies per edition, because the course is put together anew each year around the locations taking part. The Philips Museum is one of them, where the route passes the blue timeline and the spot where the first light bulbs were made. Pace is beside the point here: you run at your own rhythm and enjoy the city along the way. The event also supports the Dutch cancer society.
