Bilzen Run is a city road race on and around the Markt in Bilzen, organised by Bilzen Sports Promotion vzw. The programme combines classic running distances of 5 km, 10 km and 10 miles with separate kids' runs for nursery and primary school children, so both fast road runners and families can find a suitable race. The central start and finish area on the Markt keeps the event easy to follow for supporters and gives it a clear city-centre feel. Registration and practical race information run through Go Dare, while the official Bilzen Run site presents the race as its own local running event. For participants, this is mainly an accessible but fully fledged road race: recognisable distances, a lively central location and an organisation firmly rooted in Bilzen's sporting calendar.
