Alfasun Bike and Run Burst is not a standard running race, but a bike-and-run for two-person teams in Burst. One participant runs while the other rides, with free switches and the rule that the team stays close together. The adult races mainly centre on 9 km and 18 km on a fully paved course; youth formats are organised separately. Because it combines asphalt, speed, recovery moments on the bike and teamwork, the event feels different from a classic road race. The race is tied to the fairground atmosphere in Burst and is also known as the Memorial Kevin Rottiers, with music and local energy along the course.
