The Alden Biesen Trail & Walk explores the landscape around the Alden Biesen Commandery in Bilzen on unpaved paths. There are four routes of 10, 16, 20 and 27 kilometres, which can be covered either running or walking: walkers set off in the morning within an open start window, trail runners during the afternoon with a fixed start time per distance. The start, finish and bib collection are at the sports complex on the Zeepstraat, which also has showers, changing rooms and a bag drop. There is generous refreshment along the way and at the finish, and every finisher receives a medal. Dogs are welcome on a lead, with water bowls waiting for them at the aid stations.
