Aeresfitrun

About the race

The Aeresfitrun starts and finishes at the Aeres MBO on the Jansoniusstraat in Leeuwarden and runs straight across the city towards Zuiderburen. The programme opens with a one-kilometre KidsRun, after which the ten and the five kilometres set off shortly after one another. The course is flat and paved, so the emphasis lies on pace; the route for every distance is published in advance, GPX file included. There are drink stations along the way and refreshments afterwards, with changing rooms and showers at the school. The race belongs to the autumn programme of Lopen in Leeuwarden and draws participants of all ages, from children running their first event to seasoned competitors.
