Abele Run

About the race

The Abele Run is a running day in Abele, the border hamlet of Watou (Poperinge), in aid of the free primary school De Kleine Prins, which organises the event itself. You choose from three distances for all ages: 4.5 km (start 2 p.m.), 9 km (2.45 p.m.) or 13.5 km (4 p.m.). From 1 p.m. it's the turn of the kids' runs, from 100 m for the very youngest to 1 km for the oldest primary-school children. Those who prefer to walk can do a 4 or 7 km route.
