7-Loop

About the race

The 7-Loop in Zevenhoven has been a fixed autumn classic in the municipality of Nieuwkoop for over 35 years; 2026 marks the 39th edition. You run courses through the polders of the Groene Hart, choosing between 5 km, 10 km or 10 miles. Children run 400 m, 800 m or 2.2 km around the finish area for free and receive a medal. The run closes out the Nieuwkoop Municipality Circuit, after which the final standings are drawn up. Coming by bike is preferred; for cars a car park has been set up about 650 metres from the start and finish.
