The Yu Man Race Obstacle Run sets off from the Evenementenweide on the Koersendijk in Nijverdal and heads into the woods of the Sallandse Heuvelrug. There are four distances — 5, 10, 15 and 21 kilometres — and the number of obstacles rises with them: from more than thirty on the shortest to sixty or more on the longest. The obstacles are built around four elements: mud, water, air and fire. The minimum age differs by distance, from twelve on the 5 kilometres to sixteen on the two longest. The starts are spread across the afternoon, with the longest distance setting off first and the shortest last. You can enter solo or as a team, and there is a separate competitive category.
