Wasvenloop

About the race

The Wasvenloop is a small-scale running and walking day from Het Wasven in Eindhoven, organized by Get Running together with Wasven. The main distance is a half marathon through the Dommel valley, either solo or as a duo/trio in which one participant runs, the others cycle and the team switches as often as it likes along the way. There is no timing, so the event is more about being outdoors together than about a result sheet. The route is mostly paved with a few cart tracks, and walkers can choose 10 or 16 kilometres. With a maximum of one hundred entries, drinks and treats from the bakery and aid along the route, the Wasvenloop deliberately stays small, personal and strongly connected to its green home base in Eindhoven.
