Wase Marathon 2026
The Wase Marathon sets off at the Troelant community centre in Sinaai-Waas, a village belonging to Sint-Niklaas. The programme holds the 5K Bokkenrun, ten miles, a half marathon and an ultra of 58 kilometres; despite the name there is no full marathon. The course runs over cobbles, field lanes and stretches of woodland, alongside a substantial paved section — so it is not a pure trail but a race cutting through the Waasland as that landscape actually is. Bringing your own cup or hydration flask is part of the race. The event is organised by Running Team Sinaai.
