Nieuwjaarscorrida WALO

About the race

With the Nieuwjaarscorrida, Waasland athletics club WALO opens the new running year in Nieuwkerken-Waas. It is a road race through the village centre, with registration, changing rooms and the prize ceremony at the sports hall on the Gyselstraat. At 1.45 pm the youth races run first, from 675 m for the youngest to 1125 m for the older youth category. These are followed by the 5 km at 2.15 pm and the 10 km at 3 pm, open from the cadet category upwards. All participants receive a gift prize. A classic way to start the year in sporting fashion.
