The wAIRfaaz Challenge is an obstacle race at the sports centre by the Warfaaz lake, just outside Spa. The course is five kilometres long and features more than twenty obstacles, some inflatable and some drawn from the terrain itself. The emphasis is on fun rather than finishing times: participants set off alone, with friends, with colleagues or as a family. There are two entries, one for adults and one for young people, both covering the same loop and starting at the same moment. The field is large, with room for hundreds of participants in each category. Afterwards the atmosphere carries on at the sports centre grounds, where food is on sale as well.
