Until The End - Backyard Ultra is a backyard ultra in Spa, starting and finishing at the Centre sportif de Warfaaz. The race follows the classic backyard format: the same 6.706 km loop starts every hour, and only runners who return within the hour may line up again. The loop is mostly off-road and has around 190 metres of elevation gain, so rhythm, recovery and climbing return again and again. In the aid area, runners can set up their own camp and refuel between loops, while the course itself has to be run independently. That makes Until The End more than a fixed trail distance: it is a long elimination race where pacing, nutrition and mental calm matter more with every passing hour.
