VK Heuvel-Loop is a timed running event from Kessel-Lo near Leuven, supporting VK Heuvel-Lo. The course runs through the fields and woods of Kessel-Lo and Lubbeek and is deliberately mostly unpaved: depending on the distance, 60 to 70 percent is off-road. Runners can choose 7, 12, 18 or 25 km; there is also an untimed 7 km walk with a free start window. Aid stations are provided along the way, and after the finish the club canteen atmosphere awaits, with showers and changing rooms on site. Because the course is signposted but not closed to traffic, VK Heuvel-Loop feels like an accessible but genuine outdoor race for runners who enjoy green surroundings.
