About the race

PortPeople Vestingloop Hellevoetsluis is a running day around Zuidfront and the historic fortified town of Hellevoetsluis. The eighth edition combines a 1 km family run, 5 km, 10 km, half marathon and 5 km walking route, so children, recreational runners, walkers and competitive runners all share the same fortress atmosphere. The routes mix the compact town setting with the area beyond the ramparts, with supporters along the course and aid stations by distance. The event also supports the Hersenstichting, giving the local experience more meaning than just a finish time.
