Verlaine's Runners Trail is an Ardennes trail event from Verlaine-sur-Ourthe, near Durbuy. The start and event base are at the Salle du Village on Chemin de la Pyramide. Les Verlaine's Runners offer three clear distances: 12.5 km with about 530 metres of elevation gain, 24 km with about 1050 metres, and 42 km with about 1700 metres. This is therefore not a casual forest jog, but a demanding trail day for runners who want climbs, descents and technical variety. Aid stations are provided on course, with additional support at the finish. The atmosphere remains local and festive, with music, catering and the feel of a club that knows its terrain well.
