Urban Trail Brussels

About the race

The Urban Trail Brussels is not a race for a fast time but a voyage of discovery through the capital. Over roughly 7 or 12 kilometres the route runs straight through buildings and past places normally closed to runners: stairwells, courtyards, halls and passageways that open only on this day. In between, the course winds through the narrow streets and squares of the city centre. Every location adds a piece of the city's history, which makes the event feel more like a walk through Brussels at running pace than a classic trail. The starting point can shift from edition to edition, because the organisers want to show a different side of the city each time.
