The Ultimate Warrior Obstacle Run takes place in the Drakenrijk recreation area near Reuver, close to the German border. The course combines beach, forest and heath with water, mud and climbing obstacles, including a water slide eighteen metres high and a hundred and ten metres long. It is built up in steps: the Little Warrior of 5 kilometres for anyone wanting to try, then 7, 14, 21 and 28 kilometres, and for the most stubborn the Ultra Warrior of two 28-kilometre laps. Those looking for the extreme enter the 24-hour format, where the clock rather than the distance decides how far you get. The event runs across two days.
