The Uilentoren Loop Leersum is a wooded running day around the Uilentoren on the Utrechtse Heuvelrug. The event combines unpaved routes through the surroundings of Leersum with a village feel: supporters see runners several times and participants choose from 5.5 km, 8.5 km, 13.5 km or 10 miles. There is also an 8.5 km walk, kids' runs from 0.6 to 1.8 km and the striking Uilentoren elimination race over 1 km laps. That makes the run broader than a classic race in the woods. Recreational runners, fast racers, children and walkers come together on the same day around a course where nature, elevation and clear organisation take centre stage.
