Twentse Smokkeltrail

About the race

A trail through the border area of Losser and Bad Bentheim, inspired by the region's smuggling past. More than 90 percent of the route is unpaved, and you cross the border with Germany along the way; some stretches run over private land that's only open for this one day. You choose 27, 22 or 14 kilometres, or a 10 kilometre with drop-off. New this year are the kids trails of 800 and 1000 metres. There are also walking trails. Organised by volunteers of athletics club Iphitos Losser.
