This edition has already happenedSee upcoming races nearbyTwenterandrun is Vriezenveen's major running evening, organised by Stichting Sportpromotie Twenterand. The start and finish are at the town hall on Manitobaplein, after which the course runs through the centre of Vriezenveen. The 5 km and 10 km are officially certified by the Dutch athletics federation and use a lap of about 2.5 km. There is also a broad youth programme with 1 km, 1.5 km and 2.5 km, plus a G-loop; PowerWalking is included on the 5 km. Music, spectators and a festive finish atmosphere make Twenterandrun more than just a fast evening race.
