The Triatlon of Vroomshoop is organised by Stichting Sportpromotie Twenterand, with the open-air pool of Aquapark De Zandstuve on the Hammerweg as its centre point. The swim is held in the fifty-metre pool and the transition zone sits right beside the water. Four formats are offered: a youth distance over 100 metres swimming, 4.8 kilometres cycling and 1 kilometre running, a sixteenth over 200 metres, 9.5 and 3.2 kilometres, an eighth over 500 metres, 20 and 5 kilometres, and a quarter over 1000 metres, 40 and just over 10 kilometres. Every distance can be covered individually or as a duo or trio, so that someone strong in a single discipline can still take part. Timing runs through MyLaps.
