Triatlon De Bres

About the race

The Triatlon De Bres is the summer race of judo club De Bres in Sint-Jozef near Rijkevorsel. The programme consists of 400 metres of swimming, 22 kilometres on the bike over two laps and 4 kilometres of running, to be tackled individually or as a pair. The afternoon opens with the youth races in the U10 to U16 categories, which have their own prize-giving. The adults then set off in a single mass start at the beginning of the evening, with the awards following around half past eight. It remains a compact event with a pronounced village character: manageable distances, a lapped course around Sint-Jozef and plenty of spectators who know the competitors by name.
