The Triathlon of Zwolle plays out around the Milligerplas, with start, finish and transition zones at Grand Café Milligers. The swim is in open water, the bike leg runs along a dike course beside the Zwarte Water and the run circles the recreational lake. Four formats are on the programme: an eighth over 500 metres, 20 and 5 kilometres, a quarter over 1, 40 and 10, a new third distance over 1.5, 60 and 15 kilometres, and the 038 relay in which teams of two or three share the quarter between them. The fifteenth edition runs on more than a hundred volunteers. It is organised by Triathlon Vereniging Triade.
