The Triathlon de Chièvres is organised by Endurance Team Chièvres, which marks its fortieth anniversary this edition with an extended weekend programme. It opens on Friday evening with a jogging race over 5 and 10 kilometres, after which Saturday brings a half triathlon over 1.9 kilometres of swimming, 90 kilometres of cycling and 20 kilometres of running, plus a race for children. Sunday closes with a promo distance in the morning and the Olympic distance in the afternoon: 1.5 kilometres of swimming, 43 kilometres of cycling and 10 kilometres of running. The race office is on the Grand Place of Chièvres; the start and transition zone are on the Chaussée de Mons.
