The Quintine Trail du Diable au SUKre starts at the FC Ellezelles sports complex and runs through the Pays des Collines, between Ellezelles and Flobecq. About ninety per cent of the course is on paths, sunken lanes and dirt roads. The four distances each carry their own name and climb steadily in elevation: La Ducassis over 9.5 kilometres with roughly 140 metres, La Quintine over 21 kilometres with 400, La Goliath over 31 with 600 and L'Hercule over 42 with some 900. The starts run in reverse, the longest at half past eight and the shortest at ten, and each distance has its own cap — 1400 bibs in total. The 42 has a cut-off along the way: miss the 33-kilometre point at quarter past one and your race ends there.
