Tri Bütgenbach, also known as the Butgenbach Cup, is a sprint triathlon organised by SC Bütgenbach in and around Worriken. On Sunday 14 June 2026, individual athletes and relay teams start from the tennis hall area at Worriken. The format is compact: a 750 m swim, about 21 km on the bike and a 5 km run. The swim takes place in Lake Bütgenbach, the bike leg is ridden on road bikes over multiple laps, and the run finishes the race around the sports site. With both individual entries and teams of two to three people, this is an accessible event for triathletes who want to race the sprint distance without the feel of a huge mass event. Limited entry numbers and a fixed venue give the day a clear, sporting character.
