Trappistenrun Westmalle is a timed running event in the green surroundings of the Westmalle Trappist brewery. The Sunday 12 April 2026 edition started from the Mintjens Arena sports grounds on Heidemolenbaan and offered three routes: 7 km, 14 km and 21 km. Participants set off in flexible start waves between 09:00 and 12:00, giving the event a calmer feel than a single mass start. Aid stations were provided on the course, but runners were asked to bring a reusable cup. The result is an accessible, atmospheric run with timing and a clear local identity.
