The Trail de la Saint-Joseph sets off from the Institut Saint-Joseph on the Avenue de la Salm in Trois-Ponts, in the heart of the Ardennes. There are three distances starting shortly after one another: 18 kilometres at ten, 11 kilometres a quarter of an hour later and 7 kilometres at half past ten. The race is a round of the Challenge Jogging de la Province de Liège, with each distance counting towards a different standings table — the 18 for the long distances, the 11 for the provincial 10K circuit and the 7 for the short 5K circuit. There is deliberately no youth race for children under twelve. The secretariat opens at half past eight, and pre-registration is recommended on every distance.
