The Taxandria Vennenloop is the spring race of Taxandria Atletiek, starting and finishing at Sportpark Gemullehoeken on the Vennelaan in Oisterwijk. The course leads through the woods and past the fens, but stays paved from start to finish: the landscape is that of a trail, the surface that of a road race. The 15 kilometres consists of a ten-kilometre lap followed by a five-kilometre one, and counts towards the Regio 13 Weg Circuit. The afternoon opens with the youth races over 400, 800 and 1760 metres; that last distance and the 5 kilometres belong to the Regio 13 Jeugd Circuit. Every participant receives a medal.
