Strong Viking settles in the Spaarnwoude recreation area for a weekend, with five distances from 4 to 42 kilometres. The obstacles lean heavily on water here: the Fjord Drop sends you off a fourteen metre height, and the Flying Ragnar hangs above the lake. In between comes the usual business of climbing, crawling and going through the mud. At virtually every obstacle you may walk by without attempting it, so how hard your day gets is up to you — which makes the same distance suit a committed obstacle racer and a group of friends who mainly want to get wet. The 4 kilometre Family Run is open from age five.
