The Stratenloop of Sevenum builds the evening up from young to old. At five the parent-and-child race over 300 metres sets off, followed by the kidsrun of 650 metres and the school race of 1300 metres; all three are free. At quarter past six the 10 kilometres starts and the 5 kilometres closes the evening. The course is closed to traffic and fenced off, with a water point on the longer laps. Timing is done by a chip on the race number and every finisher receives a medal. The race is carried by a foundation of seven volunteers; race numbers can be collected from half past three at De Wingerd.
