The Harry Driessen Running & Walking Heideloop is STB Landgraaf's traditional heathland run across the Brunssummerheide. The 45th edition starts around Vlekkenkamp and uses a partly paved course, giving the race more of a natural feel than a standard road run. The programme includes a 3.6 km Start to Run, an 8.1 km short race and a 16.2 km long race. The atmosphere stays typically Limburgish and local: STB organises close to its own club community, finishers get vlaai and coffee, and the main distances still leave room for real racing ambition.
