Alfa Bear Trail

About the race

The Alfa Bear Trail is a Limburg trail run starting and finishing at the brewery in Thull, a hamlet of Schinnen where beer has been brewed by the same family since 1870. The course heads into the hills of southern Limburg, over unpaved paths through woods and meadows, fully waymarked. The organisers traditionally offer three distances, from a first taste of trail running to a route with a decent amount of climbing; exactly which distances those are is announced per edition. One practical point matters here: there is no parking at the brewery, and marshals stop cars at the access roads into Thull. Allow fifteen to twenty-five minutes on foot from the car parks, or take the train to Schinnen station or come by bike.
