The Sloterplasloop is run in Amsterdam Nieuw-West, with the sports hall on the Dokter Meurerlaan as its central point. The morning opens with two kids runs of 750 and 1500 metres, after which the 7.5-kilometre walk goes at quarter to ten, the 5 kilometres at half past ten and the 10 at twelve. That last one circles the Sloterplas and combines athletics track, park and waterside. Note that the start point differs by distance, so it pays to look at the course beforehand. The event is organised by the Amsterdamse Atletiek Combinatie.
