The SlooOW Natuurmarathon is the long-distance branch of the SlooOW race day in Lelystad. The half and full nature marathons start on Saturday 9 May 2026 at Watersportvereniging Het Bovenwater and head through Hollandse Hout and along or around the Oostvaardersplassen. The organisers deliberately keep the race small-scale and nature-focused: little fuss, plenty of open landscape and, in the marathon, the option to run solo or as a duo with a personal cyclist alongside. Proceeds go to Stichting Roparun and Stichting Ambulance Wens.
