Sleinse Jogging is the Friday evening race of Chirofeesten Sleidinge and a familiar fixture within Evergemse Joggings and the Augustijn Criterium. The start and event base are at the Chiro premises on Lovendonk 8 in Sleidinge. The programme is broad without becoming complicated: a free 1.5 km kids run for children up to 12, plus 3 km, 6 km, 9 km and 12 km for other runners. The traffic-free course and the link with Chirofeesten give the race a clear village character. For participants it is mainly an accessible criterium jogging event: plenty of distance choice, a recognisable local organisation and the atmosphere of a festive evening in Sleidinge.
