The Semi-Marathon de Binche starts on the Grand-Place, the square where the town also holds its carnival, and finishes in the Parc communal on the Rue Saint-Moustier. There are three distances: 6.6, 12 and 21.1 kilometres, with a separate youth start earlier in the afternoon. The main start falls at three o'clock, so the race takes up the whole afternoon. Binche lies on the edge of the Hainaut hill country and the course makes that felt. The race counts towards the Challenge Hainaut, the provincial regularity series. Changing rooms, showers and a bag drop are provided.
