The AMJB Run is an eight-kilometre loop from Maurage, a village belonging to La Louvière, and counts towards the Hainaut provincial series. The course alternates village roads with narrow lanes, country paths, a stretch of the RAVeL greenway and a passage along the towpaths of the old Canal du Centre. With 81 metres of climbing over eight kilometres it is not a flat lap, but the difficulty stays moderate. The youth races follow later in the morning. At the start on the Place de Maurage there are changing rooms, showers and a supervised bag drop. Within the series this is a sponsored round: every participant scores the same points regardless of place or time.
