The start and event base are at the old school in Charneux. The event focuses on technical, varied paths in a Hautes Fagnes-style setting, with grassy, stony, earthy and boggy sections. The main distances are about 11 km with 210 metres of elevation gain and about 23.5 km with 470 metres of elevation gain; there is also a kids run of around 2 km. The name gives the race a playful tone, but the course is clearly trail-oriented. Duo running is central to the concept, while solo and canicross participation are also possible under the event rules. That makes La Sawe qui peut local, adventurous and broader than a simple two-distance trail.
