RUNCOOP - Jogging du Canal is COOP's short canal run in Anderlecht. From the former mill on Quai Fernand Demets, participants run or walk along the Brussels canal towards Pont Pierre Marchant or, on the longer distance, to the Anderlecht lock. The programme consists of 2.5 and 5.6 kilometres, with low entry fees and a medal for every participant. The set-up is deliberately neighbourhood-focused: start at COOP, two clear out-and-back routes and participation for beginners as well as more experienced runners and walkers. That makes RUNCOOP feel more like a sporting discovery of the canal district than a heavy race setting.
