Atom'Run is a Brussels team race for squads of four, starting and finishing at the King Baudouin Stadium site. The four-kilometre loop runs across the athletics track, past the Boin stadium, underneath the Atomium and on into the Royal Park of Laeken. The format differs from a classic relay: the first runner sets off alone and after every lap a team-mate joins in the changeover zone, so all four cover the final lap together. Runner one therefore completes four laps, runner two three, runner three two and runner four one — sixteen kilometres of racing shared across the team. For clubs, families, friends and colleagues it is above all a sociable goal to work towards together.
