Run & Roast starts at Museumpark Vonk, the renovated prehistoric village in the Genneper Parken of Eindhoven, and the name gives away the format: after the running comes the roasting. Entry includes a plant-based burger, eaten on the grounds after the finish. There are two distances for adults — the 5 kilometres at half past five, the 10 kilometres three quarters of an hour later — and a children's run of a thousand metres through the park. The course stays within the Genneper Parken, so spectators and participants remain close together. The event is organised by Hardloopnetwerk and puts explicit emphasis on a sustainable setup.
